What is the writing in digits of a number? (Definition)

Numbers are particular words (or chemical compound words) which have a writing in letters (ONE, TWO, THREE, etc.) but also, more commonly a dedicated writing in numbers (one, 2, 3, etc). Numerical writing is the abbreviated, more mathematical, writing of numbers.

How to convert a number from letters to figures?

Amidst the greatest numbers with a name, there are as well more exotic names similar the gogol which is worth $ x^{100} $ that is the number 1 followed by 100 zeros or the gogolplex which is worth $ 10^{10^{100}} $ or the number i followed past a gogol of zeros.

When writing currencies (euros, dollars, etc.) some subunits can be used, like the cents 0.01, or in India the lakh is worth 100000

Where to set commas in numbers?

A comma is sometimes positioned every iii digits to the left of the decimal point (especially for large numbers, so that they are easy to read).

The international system of units recommends the use of (thin space).
